get me those album orders

i know i have a few blog stalkers out there. oct 15th is DEADLINE for getting that album order in my mail box!! if you want that book while you are visiting all those family peeps of yours for the holidays.....you gotta get me those orders!! you know you want to show it off :)
i think sometimes even our best of the best clients forget we photogs are not only retail providers.....but heck we are human too! real breathing people with families and kids that like to make those gross cookies every year. i am for sure doing tons of cookies this year and i promised myself i am not gonna budge on that deadline date. i will send you all "email 2 of 2" in the next couple weeks....another friendly reminder :) sept is just about here...can you believe it, the holidays WILL be here SOON!
and a huge ass shout out to my super favorites christiana, catherine, and marie for getting those book orders in- ty ty ty soooooo much ladies! i think you 3 chicks ROCK!

Pete's Sweeets

friday was a really fun day in the studio, i dont do too much commercial work so this was a real treat for me! eddie with pete's sweeets is a chef and he makes these super yummy cheesecakes on a stick. he was in need of some new photos for some ad work. i dragged my kids and a couple of friends in to help me out and photograph this project. the kids had a great time playing around. eddie will be getting a website in order soon but for now his contact info is 916.399.8503

back to work

i have been so much enjoying my time off the last several weeks!! ive seriously lagged on getting slideshows in order and new images put on the website. there is an upside to that though.....i have been on real time vaca mode consisting of lots of shopping, tons of swimming...last summer i think i jumped in my pool twice the entire year and i was not going to make that a repeat this year...we have had tons of bbqing, six flags....did i mention TONS of shopping too :) it has been a wonderful summer. NOW it is time to go back to work. starting this weekend i have the next 5 weeks of saturday and sundays back to back weddings - i feel so great about it and tons of energy SO I AM READY to dive in!!
i do have a couple new slideshows to post. my awesome helper michelle (aka donna) helped me out on these. the first one is chanie and alec, they were married at the library in auburn and then off to the blue goose fruit shed....the wedding was utter amazing....and this other wedding was suppose to be at a residential location in sutter creek....remember all that rain memorial weekend? this group of friends and family had this moved kelsey and david's wedding in no time flat to a great spot down the road at thier friends house, they have tons of acreage and a barn that they decked out with twinkle lights and greenery, it came together so beautiful!! the rain did not stop me from taking this couple outdoors for a few shots. so keep your eyes peeled, we have the simply gorgeous katie and mike this saturday...and the following day andrea and tony......LOVE ME some andrea, she will be just breathtaking.

the other day i met with mom and now her senior high school son in old sac for his senior portrait session. i did their family pictures almost 2 years ago (yes i felt SPECIAL she called me back) this kid has grown up fast!! they did go get those studio pics done for the school thing but they thought it would be great to get the kind of pics that fit daniel's personality. he brought his guitar and we messed around with some very urban looking stuff along with a few nice traditional shots. daniel loves rock, and a lot of older rock stuff too.....one of his fav groups are alice in chains...soooo HELL TO THE YA im playing that on his slideshow. i should have that up and going in the next few days. after he graduates high school, he will going into the military and serving this amazing country. daniel's a super good kid from what i hear...i think he ROCKS!!

ashleigh and taylor

today was a great day!! me and my awesome gorgeous daughters took off in the morning to get MORE school shopping done. i later met with olivia (the best ever mommy that walked the face of the earth) to pick up ashleigh and taylors wedding album. they got married last year at jackson rancheria hotel and casino. i swear this girl was literally poured into this wedding dress, it was made for her!! the album came out beautiful and hopefully they will be dragging that thing around showing it off for a while. call me for those fam pics mom!! right after that, i then met with my new couple adrienne and matt that gets married next month.....ty ty ty for the referral megan and brian (they were some of my gorgeous ones from last year, and the sis of megan)....this wedding will be held at arden hills cc....always an awesome shoot!
