flourish designs

i am getting some images out for vendors that i work with a lot so i thought was a perfect time to do some shouts to these people that i love and adore so much!! i am going to try my very best to get a shout out done once a week (maybe more) for next month or so. i will start off with shannon with flourish designs. not only do i love her every being but her flowers are ooy-gooey sugar coated delicious! shannon just has the freshest flowers and her artistic eye sets herself apart. her work is just amazing! if you can get this little lady booked for your wedding or event, you will be instore for a treat. love me some shannon!

seriously what better weather could we ask for in january!! shooting has been fabulous these past few weeks i cannot believe it.
i was finally able to meet with cute pete here. a few months ago, jenn and her sweet papa came in to meet with me and booked me for this awesome wedding coming up in july. they are having one huge wedding at their church and then off to the new le rivage. that place is sure busy busy busy, what a GREAT venue, i think i have 3 weddings scheduled there this year. jenn and pete brought there puppies cami and nellie. nellie took to me right away....i had treats :). both great dogs, great mannered so it was a special treat for me to get these pretty girls photographed, i dont get a chance to do much doggie pics. again, another great shoot with some super awesome couples. - i did have to mention how much i LOVED both sets of pretty jenns jewlery- we basically have to same exact taste, big and clunky and just make a statement kinda jewlery....i really have the best job ever!!

yesterday was just fun, no work, no pressure!! mike and i had a great time shooting. i think these pics are going to be used all over the board....commercial, some modeling, some marketing, some website. whatever they are used for, it was just good fun, out of the buzillion times i have been in old sac, ive never been in the railroad museum, so that made for some pretty coolio shots as well, mostly due to that costume he picked up. ill just post a couple pics here and expect a great slideshow in the next coming weeks or so. if any peeps are out there looking for a dj for any type of event, mike is truly one of the best in sac-and hey he's pretty darn hunky and easy to look at too :)

all kinds of new!!

how much do i LOVE my new online galleries? A LOT!! i should have done this soooo long ago. i think my clients are really going to appreciate organization! all the fun things through out the wedding date are now set up in its own folders. parents want to go in and just view their beautiful bride, they just go straight to that folder. clients can go in and create there own favorite folders- sit on their lunch hour and go through a slideshow etc. this is seriously life changing and i will be able to regain some of my sanity. i am also finally now taking credit cards....2009 is full of easy and simplicity! i am also so close to being done with my new marketing folders, after buying a buzillion different colors and textures i have finally decided on a candy apple red slick and shiny folder with my new logo, oh its just PRETTY! i have a few more things to things to get but overall it is complete with new pricing, misc pricing, book upgrades, and all the services i offer in one handy folder. gosh i feel ORGANIZED!! a HUGE thank you to marty and jason, and HUGE thank you to chanie and alec for referring me to my newest booked couples for 2009!! hugs

happy happy HAPPY 2009!! i hope you all had a fabulous holiday season. i am officially back to work and back on task. great time to start thinking about getting those album orders in (wink wink). ive been working on some new pricing info, new info packets, branding etc.....theres is a lot of goodies to be buying out there. i also came across this awesome new website, peek through it when you have time. it has lots of ideas for your weddings, photos, forums, vendor recommendations and all sorts of stuff. theres a couple of my brides really enjoying the site.
